R&D IBS Participant - Batch 1 (2026)
M. Akmal Kabir
Muhammad Akmal Kabir is a final-year student from the Faculty of Agriculture (FP), majoring in Agrotechnology, with a cumulative GPA of 3.34/4.00.
His business idea is to establish a small enterprise that adds value to Tasikmalaya's abundant moringa production by improving post-harvest processing, quality control, and market readiness.
By partnering with home-garden and smallholder growers, he aims to introduce practical standards for harvesting, drying, packaging, and product traceability, enabling farmers to earn higher incomes from value-added moringa products.
Beginning with local and regional markets, his long-term goal is to develop export-ready products through recognised quality standards and strategic partnerships with established exporters, helping position Tasikmalaya as a competitive producer of high-quality herbal products.
