H.E. Iman Pambagyo
Iman Pambagyo is a veteran Indonesian trade negotiator who spent over three decades at the Ministry of Trade (1987–2020), rising to Director General for International Trade Negotiations and serving as Indonesia's Ambassador in Charge of the WTO in Geneva. He studied International Relations at Gadjah Mada University and International Politics at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.

He is best known for chairing the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee from 2013 to 2020, work for which he was widely recognized by leaders and trade ministers across the agreement's 16 negotiating countries. Over his career he served as Indonesia's chief negotiator on ASEAN goods, services, investment and e-commerce agreements, as well as bilateral negotiations with Australia, Chile, Pakistan, South Korea and EFTA, and chaired the organizing committee of the 9th WTO Ministerial Conference in Bali in 2013. He also led the International Pepper Community, the International Coffee Organization, and the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries during various terms, and played a key role in establishing Indonesia's state-owned testing, inspection and certification holding company in 2021.

He currently serves as Independent Commissioner of Intibios Clinic, Lab & Pharmacy (following a term as its President Director), Corporate Advisor to Sinar Mas Group's Asia Pulp & Paper division, a member of the Board of Editors at B-Universe Media Holding, a member of the Board of Experts at the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), and President Commissioner of PT Sustainable Indonesia Development. A published commentator on globalization, trade policy and ASEAN affairs in outlets including the Jakarta Post and Kompas, his honors include Indonesia's 30 Years Civil Service Gold Medal (2017) and the Royal Order of Sahametrei – Grand Cross, conferred by the King of Cambodia in 2022.
